Facebook just unveiled a cool new feature. Not because of what it does . . . but because for once it doesn’t seem creepy or invasive. (Maybe they didn’t appreciate the app TimeHop pulling us away from Facebook).

It’s called “On This Day,” and it’s simple: It shows your posts and photos from the same date in previous years.

You can check it out by going to facebook.com/onthisday . . . but they’re rolling it out to different people at different times, so you may not have access to it quite yet.

Now, you might remember back when Facebook rolled out a “Year in Review” feature . . . and some people blasted them for including photos of past relationships and even friends who died.

So they’ve learned . . . and created a special algorithm for “On This Day” that filters out posts and photos that might show you things you don’t necessarily WANT to be reminded of.

The world is passing you by while you fumble around trying to take a picture of it for Instagram.

A new survey found 58% of people say their desire to post the perfect photo on social media has had a negative effect on their life . . . it’s ruined vacations, affected their kids, and sometimes even led them to do bizarre or dangerous things.

91% of people have seen a tourist miss out on enjoying a moment because they’re too busy taking pictures.

79% have seen a parent, quote, “undermine their own experience in a child’s life” for the sake of a photo.

75% admit they’ve done something RUDE to get a picture for social media . . . and 14% have even risked their own safety.

In other words, your obsession with the perfect social media post is ruining your life.

JOHNNY DEPP is #1 on a new list of “The 20 Most Overrated Actors of Our Time,” which isn’t surprising since he’s been in a HUGE slump at the box office . . . including his last movie, “Mortdecai”, which has been described as one of his “worst flops ever.”

The rest of the list includes actors who are either still coasting on reputations that are no longer deserved, or who never deserved those reputations in the first place.

Also, no one made the list because of ONE misstep. They had to be “repeat offenders” in failing to deliver the goods. And of course the “failures” are subjective, and are not directly linked to box office numbers or critics’ opinions. Here’s the list:

The original Woodstock in 1969 had a STACKED lineup, so it seems like it would’ve cost a fortune pay the bands . . . even if you consider that many of them are more well-known now than they were then.

A list of the fees paid to each act has been circulating on the Internet for a while now. JIMI HENDRIX got $18,000, which was the most. That seems like a bargain, but when you adjust it for inflation, it would’ve been more like $115,000.

It also doesn’t include Iron Butterfly, who were supposed to receive $5,000 plus another $5,000 for their light show . . . because they never showed.

The inflated numbers make the amounts more relevant, but it was still a bargain. Music festivals today definitely spend WAY more than that, and most of them won’t be remembered one year later, let alone 45-plus years and counting.

Coachella doesn’t release any official numbers, but they reportedly spend several million on their headliners each year, and they have well over 100 acts on the bill. In 2008, they supposedly got Prince for $2 million.

Although, like Woodstock, the smallest bands are probably earning less than they paid to get there.

A new study found the HAPPIEST age of your life is . . . 34. So if you’re younger than that, it gets better. And if you’re older . . . sorry, it’s all downhill from here.

According to the website SmartCredit.com, here are four things you should never borrow money for.

1. A boat, or any kind of vehicle you don’t NEED. Like if you need to have a truck for work, then get a loan. But not if you just want to tool around on an ATV for fun. Stuff like that usually comes with other expenses that you don’t think about.

2. A vacation. If you can’t afford to drop $3,500 and take your family to Disney World for a week, don’t do it. There are plenty of other options that are cheaper.

3. A wedding. It’s becoming more and more common to take out a huge loan so you can have your dream wedding. But most people end up regretting it, because you end up starting out under a mountain of debt.

Which is why guys probably shouldn’t borrow ten grand for a huge engagement ring either.

4. Furniture, including big-screen TV’s. If you can get zero percent financing and pay it off in time, then MAYBE. But even then, you’re better off buying something cheaper, or waiting until you’ve saved up.

Zagat just released their annual survey on how much coffee Americans drink. And 82% of coffee drinkers say they have at least one cup every single day. Here are six more results from the survey.

1. The average coffee drinker has 2.1 cups a day. Men average 2.4 compared to 1.9 for women.

2. 24% of people say normal coffee is their favorite . . . 17% prefer lattes . . . 12% prefer cappuccinos . . . 8% like espressos . . . and 5% say iced coffee is their favorite.

3. 29% of people take their coffee black . . . 23% add half-and-half . . . 16% use whole milk . . . 15% use skim . . . 8% use almond milk . . . and 6% use soy milk.

4. 43% of people usually make their coffee at home or at work to save money . . . 26% go to a national chain like Starbucks . . . and 22% go to smaller coffee shops.
